By engaging in interactive lessons and class discussion, pupils are provided with the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills, in line with the NI Curriculum. 

Pupils are nurtured to develop skills in Reading, Writing and Speaking & Listening, allowing them to grow their communication skills, engage with exciting texts and ultimately create a solid platform for progression to GCSE and beyond.

We provide a wide and varied range of texts at Key Stage 3, covering prose fiction, poetry and drama. We frequently update our class texts to ensure that pupils enjoy contemporary and diverse reading experiences.
