The Williamson Library is a very important and central part of Larne Grammar School. The Library is essentially a quiet place where pupils come to read, study, to work on one of the chromebooks, play chess or to unwind in a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.

Many events and competitions are held throughout the school year aimed at encouraging pupils to read and use the Library.

Reading Group

Junior Reading Group meets monthly at lunchtime in the School Library. Junior Reading Group is for Years 8-10.  Refreshments are provided. 

  

Ecilpse Library Catalogue

Staff and pupils are able to see if a required book is available in the Library from any computer within the school by accessing Ecilpse.

  1. Access your “My School” account.
  2. Go to “View All”.
  3. Click “Online Learning” on the left hand side
  4. Double click “Library”.
  5. Logon appears at the top left of your screen. You should be automatically logged on but if not your logon is the same as your computer logon.

Type in the name of the book or author that you wish to source and click on the arrow.
