Friday 10 November 2023 Former pupil awarded OBE for services to the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Congratulations to former Larne Grammar School pupil, Laura Fretwell (nee Dick), who received an OBE from HRH The Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle on 4th October 2023 for services to the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Laura currently heads up the Ceremonial Team in the Northern Ireland Office (NIO) which organised the events in Royal Hillsborough and Belfast following the death of Queen Elizabeth.
