Pupil Success at the Soroptimists Public Speaking Regional Heats

Congratulations to Year 13 pupils Isabel Logan and Lauren McKeown who were competing at the Soroptimists Public Speaking Regional Heat last night, Monday 14th November.

Lauren McKeown and Isabel Logan Soroptimists Public Speaking CompetitionIsabel Logan was awarded first place for her speech entitled, 'Does Society need to change how we deal with migration?' and Lauren McKeown came joint third with her speech entitled, 'United Nations predict it will be 300 years to reach gender equality – seriously!'

The standard throughout the competition was very high and both Isabel and Lauren did a really superb job.
