Pupils Celebrate Success in Dragons Den Pitch Competition

On Monday 16th March, sixteen of our Year 11 & 12 pupils, along with six Literacy Leader Mentors, attended lunch at the Lord Mayor’s Parlour.  This was to celebrate and present prizes to the winning team, ‘Better Space’, who came first in Mid and East Antrim Borough Council Dragon's Den Pitch competition.  The team’s idea was an innovative App called ‘Dotcom’, designed to increase footfall in Larne while permitting enhanced business and community engagement.  The runners up, ‘Peas in a Pod’ and ‘Bazaar 360’, were also hosted by the Lord Mayor and received goodie bags.  On behalf of LGS, we would like to express a huge thank you to the Lord Mayor and his council team, Lisa and Linda, for organising and facilitating the events and for being so gracious.
