Year 10 Historians take part in WW1 Interactive Outreach Programme

Yesterday our Year 10 pupils took part in an Interactive Outreach Programme based on the First World War. The pupils had the opportunity to hear some personal stories of soldiers from the 36th Ulster Division and 16th Irish Division who fought in the war. They also got the chance to take part in a weapon demonstration and finished the session by going ‘over the top’ of a Western Front trench!
