Year 8 History Outreach Programme

Last week, our Year 8 pupils took part in a History Outreach Programme. Students were entertained by, among others, William Fitzsavage, great grandson of Hugh Fitzsavage, who fought alongside William of Normandy at the Battle of Hastings. Pupils also got the opportunity to dress up in chainmail, handle a variety of different weapons and build a shield wall.
